Dry Needling:
What is it?
Do you have tightness, tension, or pain that just won't go away? Do you have acute pain where it is hard to move? Try DRY NEEDLING? Dry Needling can help resolve pain and muscle tension or muscle spasms allowing you to be more active and comfortable.
Dr. Rebecca Jankowiak, PT, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in dry needling. Dry needling involves inserting a tiny monofilament needle into a muscle to release shortened bands of muscle fibers and decrease trigger point activity. This can help resolve pain and muscle tension to promote healing.
TO THE CORE is offering appointments for dry needling without any referral needed. You do not need to be an active patient to sign up. Call the clinic to schedule an appointment. Sessions are $90 and are 45 minutes in length. They include a brief assessment followed by dry needling. If you have any questions, please contact us at 410.967.4691 or email Rebecca at rebecca@tothecorept.com.
